Tickets available for Thanksgiving Dinner at Ohio State
One of the largest Thanksgiving Day dinners on a college campus will be hosted by Ohio State on Thursday, November 22 at the Ohio Union. Thanksgiving Dinner is an Ohio State Signature Event, and is supported by the Office of International Affairs and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. This year's event will serve an estimated 2,000 guests - students, faculty and staff, along with their families - who are unable to travel to their own homes for the holiday, and many international students and scholars as well.
Seatings for Thanksgiving Dinner will be at noon and 2:15 p.m. and guests must have a ticket to attend. Tickets will be available while supplies last until Wednesday, November 21 at the Office of International Affairs in Oxley Hall, room 100; the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center; and the Ohio Union Info Center. Parking in the Ohio Union garage will not be free this year, so please be prepared to use your Ohio State parking pass in order to park in the Ohio Union garage or university surface lots.

Holiday travel outside the United States
As the holidays approach, you may be thinking about traveling home or to another country. If you are thinking about leaving the U.S., you must make sure your current DS-2019 is signed by a scholar advisor for travel. If the signature is more than 10 months old (more than six months old if you will be traveling to Canada or Mexico), you will need to make an appointment with a scholar advisor to obtain a new signature.
The Office of International Affairs website allows you to schedule an appointment online, as well as learn more about travel regulations. Please contact us at (614) 292-6101 or iss@oia.osu.edu with any questions.
