Partisan Primary Election - August 9, 2016  
In-person absentee voting for the August 9th Partisan Primary begins Monday, July 25th.  Absentee votes may be cast at Village Hall, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. through Friday August 5th.

Road WorkStreet Work  
Judge Dr. will be slurry sealed the week of July 25th. Notices to stay off the road for the designated time period will be posted.
Touch-up work to Foster St. will also be done.   

Water Utility Rate Increase Water-glass
REMINDER - 2nd Quarter Water Bills are due by July 26, 2016.  
The Wisconsin PSC has authorized a water rate increase for the Village of Saukville, effective April 1, 2016.  This does not effect the sewer rates.  This increase is reflected on the 2nd quarter billing.  The last increase was in 2010.  The new water rate charge is $3.15/1000 gallons of use. 
 
Lawn Maintenance Lawn Mower
Chapter 151 of the Municipal Code provides for standards of property maintenance which prohibits unsightly growth and foliage of any nature.  Routine maintenance of lawns, yards, and property foliage is  the responsibility of every property owner. Please help keep Saukville beautiful; cut your lawns and maintain all property foliage on a regular basis.

  -  Appliance Drop-off Site - Now Available During Yard Hours

 

Ozaukee Co. Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site  
Veolia North America provides residents with a household Hazardous waste (HHW) drop off site at 1275 Mineral Springs Dr., Port Washington.   
The site is open Mondays only from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
Fees will be charged for all items on a per pound basis or per unit. 
New Rates Apply, effective July 1, 2016.

Mon., July 25th - 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Meet Site - Crossroads Museum, 200 N. Mill St.
Historical Society members will speak to the architectural and historic features at each site.

Vote-Your Vote Counts
PHOTO/VOTER ID REQUIRED FOR ALL WISCONSIN ELECTIONS
Please be prepared with your Photo ID for the 2016 elections.  Election Inspectors will be required through legislative action to ask for Voter Photo ID, along with a voter's signature to receive a ballot.
As typical with past elections for Wisconsin State Voter Registration applications, voters are still required to provide proof of residence when registering to vote.  A list of acceptable proof of residence documents are listed on the Government Accountability Board's website at http://www.gab.wi.gov/elections-voting/photo-id .
