Vandalism is Costly to Everyone! Neighborhood Watch2
The Village has experienced vandalism to its municipal properties from time to time over the years.  This includes park facilities, well houses, water towers, streets, signs, trees, etc.  Most vandalism occurs during the summer months.  The cost of vandalism can be expensive and is passed on to the taxpayers.  If you know of, or observe vandalism taking place, please call the Saukville Police Dept. at 262-284-0444 immediately to report an incident.  You can help to keep Saukville safe and beautiful!

Fire Stoves & Pits Permit
Village of Saukville Ordinance requires that a Burn Permit be obtained prior to the use of outdoor fire stoves or in-ground pits, and that such devices are to be used for recreational burning only.  You must receive approval from the Saukville Fire Chief before installing a permanent in-ground pit in your yard.  Contact Village Hall at 284-9423 for more information.

Planning a Rummage Sale?
Please refer to Village Ordinance regarding rummage/garage sale, real estate, directional, or informational signs and follow location and time restrictions.  Improperly placed signs will be confiscated.  Contact Village Hall, 284-9423, with any questions.

Lawn Maintenance
Chapter 151 of the Municipal Code provides for standards of property maintenance which prohibits unsightly growth and foliage of any nature.  Routine maintenance of lawns, yards, and property foliage is Lawn Mower the responsibility of every property owner. Please help keep Saukville beautiful; cut your lawns and maintain all property foliage on a regular basis.

VOTER INFORMATION

Vote-Your Vote Counts

PHOTO/VOTER ID REQUIRED IN 2016

On March 23, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way for enforcement of Wisconsin's 2011 voter ID law.  Photo ID is now required for all elections in Wisconsin.

Please be prepared with your Photo ID for the 2016 elections.  Election Inspectors will be required through legislative action to ask for Voter Photo ID, along with a voter's signature to receive a ballot.

As typical with past elections for Wisconsin State Voter Registration applications, voters are still required to provide proof of residence when registering to vote.  A list of acceptable proof of residence documents are listed on the Government Accountability Board's website at http://www.gab.wi.gov/elections-voting/photo-id .

Upcoming Election Dates for 2016:

2016 Partisan Primary - August 9, 2016

2016 Fall General Election - November 8, 2016
