REMINDER:
The Village of Saukville Water Dept. will be flushing hydrants throughout the Village Monday - Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. April 25th through April 28th and May 2nd through May 5th.
There may be some discoloration in your water during this process.  This is iron and is not harmful.  We recommend that you do not do laundry if your water is discolored.  If you forget and your items have a reddish appearance, DO NOT DRY THE ITEMS; rather rewash in cold water to remove the discoloration.  Running your faucets for a short period of time after the flushing in your area is completed will clear the lines.
Call Village Hall at 262-284-9423 with any questions.

WATER UTILITY RATE INCREASE Water-glass
The Wisconsin PSC has authorized a water rate increase for the Village of Saukville to be effective April 1, 2016.  The last increase was in 2010.  Only water rates are affected.  The new water rate charge is $3.15/1000 gallons of use.
This increase is due in large part to the construction of the new well and pumping station which will replace an older well.  This was undertaken to ensure that the Village continues to have reliable and safe potable water in the future.
Other Special Fees:
   - Special Meter Read Request - $25.00
   - Special Billing Request - $25.00
   - Request to turn water off - No Charge

VOTER INFORMATION

Vote-Your Vote Counts

PHOTO/VOTER ID REQUIRED IN 2016

On March 23, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way for enforcement of Wisconsin's 2011 voter ID law.  Photo ID is now required for all elections in Wisconsin.

Please be prepared with your Photo ID for the 2016 elections.  Election Inspectors will be required through legislative action to ask for Voter Photo ID, along with a voter's signature to receive a ballot.

As typical with past elections for Wisconsin State Voter Registration applications, voters are still required to provide proof of residence when registering to vote.  A list of acceptable proof of residence documents are listed on the Government Accountability Board's website at http://www.gab.wi.gov/elections-voting/photo-id .

Upcoming Election Dates for 2016:

2016 Partisan Primary - August 9, 2016

2016 Fall General Election - November 8, 2016
