Important Health Information
Flu season is just around the corner.  Get important information and tips on what you should know about the 2014-15 Influenza Season at http://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/season/flu-season-2014-2015.htm from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Wisconsin Ebola Information Line

Ebola is all over the news right now.  And with so much conflicting information and varying reports out there, it's hard to know where to go to get the facts.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) now has information available on the DHS website (www.dhs.wisconsin.gov) as well as a toll free phone line available for state residents with questions about the Ebola virus.  Residents can dial 1-844-684-1064, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The calls are free, confidential, and multi-lingual.

"Though Ebola has not been diagnosed in Wisconsin, and the chances of getting it remain extremely low, we understand that people are concerned and have questions about the disease," said Karen McKeown, State Health Officer. "Our website and this new toll free line are helpful resources that provide Wisconsin residents with information about Ebola and Wisconsin's preparedness and prevention efforts."

Tip 411 - Complete Anonymous Police Tips

Citizens can now send anonymous police tips to the Saukville Police Dept. through various methods.

  • "SKPD Tips"  - an app for Android and iPhone devices that enables the public to send anonymous tips to the Saukville police and lets the police respond back, creating a two way anonymous "chat".   The app can be downloaded online at the Google Play Store, iTunes App Store, or by visiting the Police Department's website at http://www.village.saukville.wi.us/Police/
  • Texting - text the word SKPD and the tip to 847411.
  • Web Tips - Submit through the Saukville Police Department's website at http://www.village.saukville.wi.us/Police/ or the "CitizenObserver" online site at http://www.citizenobserver.com/cov6/app/webTipForm.html?id=10873. Your information is 100% anonymous.  CitizenObserver's technology removes all identifying information before the police department see's it so there's no way to identify the sender.
