Reminder to Residents re: Yard Clean-up Debris
Please containerize your yard debris and take it to the Village's compost site at the Department of Public Works on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Department of Public Works DOES NOT collect summer yard clean-up debris curbside.  Please follow these simple rules and help keep our community clean:
  • Do not place yard waste in the street or curbside.
  • Do not direct grass clippings into the street when mowing the lawn, or blow debris into the street with your leaf blower.

Yard waste in the street can potentially block catch basins and inhibit storm water from draining.  If you notice any yard debris covering a catch basin near your home, your help in clearing it off would be greatly appreciated.

Also, with the warm weather comes more walkers - people and pets.  Please be mindful of your neighbors and be sure to clean up pet waste immediately after deposit.  This is a Village Ordinance and fines could result for failure to clean up after your pet.

Planning a Rummage Sale?
Permits are not required for personal rummage sales, however, Village Ordinance regarding private sale signs states that signs must comply with traffic visibility requirements and are not permitted in Village parks, medians, or public areas.  Improperly placed signs will be confiscated.  Signs should be erected no more than 24 hours before a rummage sale and removed no later than 24 hours after.  For more information, contact Village Hall at 284-9423.
