Compost Site - Open Saturdays beginning April 12th 
Open every Saturday thru Nov. 15th - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Reminder to residents...the Dept. of Public Works does not collect spring yard clean-up debris curbside.  Please do not rake yard waste into the street as it can potentially block catch basins.  If you notice any yard waste covering catch basins, your help in clearing off the basins would be greatly appreciated.  Please containerize your yard debris and take it to the Village's compost site on Saturdays.

Spring Clean-Up Dumpster  - 3 Saturdays Only
April 19th, April 26th, May 3rd - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

One Day Electronics Dumpster - May 3rd - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Pre-registration required at Village Hall.  Some limitations apply.

These drop-off sites are for Village Residents Only.  Proof of residency may be requested. 

Curbside Branch Chipping begins Monday, April 14th.  The chipper will tour the Village every Monday through November 3rd.  Branches must be curbside by 6:30 a.m. - 3" max diameter.

Severe Weather Season - Safety & Awareness Tools 
Wisconsin's Tornado & Severe Weather Awareness Week is April 21-25, 2014.

Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week is a good time to go over the plans you have made to ensure the safety of your family when severe weather strikes.  A Statewide Tornado Drill is planned for Thursday, April 24th.  A mock tornado  watch will be issued statewide by the National Weather Service at 1:00 p.m. followed by a statewide tornado warning at 1:45 p.m.   Click Here for more information from the State of Wisconsin, Division of Emergency Management.

 

Siren Testing

The Village warning siren system is tested at 1:00 p.m. the first Friday of each month from April to November, weather conditions permitting.  These tests are conducted monthly to ensure that the system is functioning properly and ready to go when needed.
