Christmas Tree Chipping
Curbside Christmas Tree Chipping -

Mondays January 13th & 20th

Remove all decorations, wire, hardware, lights, etc. from tree - no cloth, paper, or plastic cover bags. Place trees curbside no sooner than 24 hours prior to the day of chipping and no later than 7:00 a.m. that day.  Make sure trees are not buried in snow.  The chipper will make only one pass per street side per chipping event.  Disposal of trees prior to or after the scheduled dates will be the homeowner's responsibility.  Do not put trees out for regular trash pick-up - they will not be picked-up.

In the Mail

Residents are receiving mail correspondence from a company offering "protection" for outside water service lines to their property for a fee.  This is in no way affiliated with, nor was solicited by the Village of Saukville Water Utility.  Problems with individual services are extremely rare and usually due to activities such as excavating without calling Diggers Hotline prior to the work.  If concerned, homeowners may want to contact their home insurance agents to inquire if they already have coverage for this type of issue.

"Zinio" Now Available at Oscar Grady Library

The Oscar Grady Public Library is now offering Zinio to all library patrons.  Zinio is the world's largest online magazine subscription database.  Beginning this year, our library will be offering over 100 digital magazine subscription titles to our patrons over the web via the Oscar Grady website.  Any active library patron, with a valid library card, will be able to check out and download magazine subscriptions; they can then read them via a web browser, or through any supported mobile device such as Android phones and tablets, iOS devices (iPad, iPhone), Kindle HD, or the Nook HD/HD+.

Magazine issues can be checked out and downloaded at no cost and without wait lists, patrons can keep any issue they download as long as they want (there are no checkout periods), and there is no limit to the number of checkouts per patron.

For more information on this exciting new service please stop in to the Library or visit our website at www.oscargradylibrary.org.
