Village Christmas Tree Lighting
Please note:  The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Caroling date has been changed to SUNDAY, DEC. 8th  - Veterans Park - beginning at 6 p.m. 
Afterwards, join the parade to Saukville Elementary School for a visit with Santa!  Kids can give Santa their wish list and receive a treat! 
2013 Property Tax Bills Have Been Mailed

Property tax-house Attention Village of Saukville Taxpayers:

Either the full payment or the first installment of your property tax bill is due by January 31, 2014.  Payment must be received by December 31, 2013 in order to deduct it off your 2013 income taxes.

 

Payments can be made in person at Village Hall, Port Washington State Bank or BMO Harris Bank (Saukville Branches), on-line at www.village.saukville.wi.us (Your Government, Tax Information), or mailed to the Village of Saukville, 639 E Green Bay Ave., Saukville, WI 53080.  Please make checks payable to the Village of Saukville.   

 

For those receiving overpayment escrow checks, immediate refunds will only be processed at Port Washington State Bank.  Please pay inside - payments will not be accepted by drive thru tellers.  You must have your tax bill to process payment.   

 

2014 Pet Licenses will be available mid-December.  Please bring your pet's rabies paperwork with you.  This information must be entered anew in the system. 

Parents - Don't Miss This Presentation

The Village of Saukville welcomes Lt. Rod Galbraith of the Ozaukee County Drug Task Force to the Public Safety Committee meeting on December 12th.  Lt. Galbraith will be giving a presentation on the effects of Opiates/Heroin in our communities.  This is a comprehensive program discussing all aspects of this prevalent but seldom talked about issue.  It is a highly recommended program, and a must for all parents.  The presentation will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the William D. Meloy Training Room located in the Saukville Police Department.

Interested in becoming a Village of Saukville Trustee?

Interested parties can start circulating papers for signature December 1st.  All necessary documents and signatures must be submitted to the Clerk's office by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014.  All documents can be found at www.wisconsin.gov or you can stop in at Village Hall and pick up a packet.  Questions?  Call Village Hall at 284-9423.
Seasonal Reminders...
No Parking Winter Parking Restrictions - Ordinance #192.7.D  
Effective December 1, 2013 to April 1, 2014

No parking on Village streets for more than 30 minutes from 2:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.   

 

Snow Plow Safety

Please treat snow plow crews with courtesy and cautionBy keeping clear of their operations, you

allow them to do their job quickly and efficiently. 

-  Do not park on the street if you see a plow in the area.
-  Don't pull out in front of a plow at the last second.
-  Keep at least 300 feet of distance from the rear of a plow as it may stop
   or back up without warning.
