Emerald Ash Borer in Saukville

EAB insect

The Emerald Ash Borer has been verified by the Wisconsin DNR in Grady Park.  At least nine mature ash trees have been identified that will require removal.  The Department of Public Works will remove any hazardous dead branches first and then fell the main trunks as time and weather permits.  The regional DNR state forester has estimated that the trees have been invaded for at least 4 to 5 years and the drought of 2012-2013 has accelerated the death of the trees.  Click  Here for more information on the Emerald Ash Borer.
