Chief Meloy - Retirement Open House |
Please join the Village of Saukville for an Open House to say "Farewell" and "Good Luck on Your Retirement" to Chief Bill Meloy after 45 years of service to the Village of Saukville Police Dept. The Open House will be held at the Saukville Police Dept. on Tuesday, June 4th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please feel free to stop by and offer Chief Meloy your well-wishes on his retirement! |

Board of Review
The Village of Saukville Assessment Board of Review is scheduled for Monday, June 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please refer to the Notice of Board of Review for requirements to appear before the Board of Review and procedural requirements if appearing before the Board.
Come to Saukville on Sundays and enjoy our outdoor market featuring fresh, in-season Wisconsin produce grown by area farmers, green house and floral products, and artisan quality crafts from local crafters.
Having a Rummage Sale?
Village Ordinance regarding rummage/garage sale, real estate, directional, or informational signs states that such signs must comply with traffic visibility requirements and are not permitted in Village parks or median areas. Improperly placed signs will be confiscated. Signs shall be erected not more than 24 hours before a sale and must be removed no later than 24 hours after. Contact Village Hall at 262-284-9423 with any questions.
Lawn Maintenance
The Village of Saukville Code of Ordinances requires "Routine Maintenance of Lawns, Yards, and Property Foliage" by all property owners. Chapter 151 of the Municipal Code provides for standards of property maintenance which prohibits unsightly growth and foliage of any nature. Lawns are required to be maintained on a regular basis. Please be sure to cut your grass and maintain vegetation as necessary. |

Live at the Triangle Summer Concert Series Begins Wed., June 12th! |
With the continuing success of Saukville's Live At The Triangle Summer Concert Series at Veterans Park in the heart of downtown Saukville, a full schedule of six FREE concerts has been lined up once again for the summer of 2013. Concerts start at 7:00 p.m. on scheduled Wednesday evenings and run until 9:30 p.m.
Wed., June 12th - Steve Grimm & the Grimm Bros.
Live At The Triangle is presented by the Village of Saukville, Ozaukee Press, Village Sno-Seekers, Tri-Par, and Associated Bank with the support of many other great local sponsors. Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of fun and music at Saukville's Veterans Park!

- Come and check out the numerous fun, free events that Oscar Grady Library has to offer this summer. There's something for everyone at the library!
- Help Keep Saukville Beautiful. Any persons or organizations interested in the Village Flowerbed Program should contact DPW Superintendent Ray deBruijn at 284-0545. There are numerous areas throughout the Village with flowerbeds that need attention. A sign will be posted at your flowerbed acknowledging your contribution to the Village.

The State of Oklahoma in coordination with the United Way of Central Oklahoma, has established the OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund Donations. Those who wish to provide assistance to support disaster relief efforts can donate online at www.unitedwayokc.org or find additional information on the voluntary agencies playing a vital role in disaster recovery by visiting: National Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) www.nvoad.org .
Remember...tornados can hit anytime, anywhere, sometimes with little or no advanced notice. Take steps now to BE PREPARED so you won't have to scramble if or when a tornado is sited in your area.
