Fire hydrants are often overlooked as requiring cleaning of snow and ice. Hydrants protect YOUR property! Keeping them accessible will result in saving precious time crucial to firefighters responding to an incident in your neighborhood. Be an advocate for your neighborhood - clear a hydrant near you.
 Also, you can help by clearing catch basins near your property. With the large amount of snow we recently received, and the rising temperatures forecasted for the coming week, rapid melting could cause flooding where these basins are snow covered. Thank you for your cooperation.
