The Oscar Grady Public Library is in need of a positive individual with a strong work ethic and love for books to serve as a part-time Page/Shelver.  Job duties include shelving materials, emptying the book drop, and other duties as assigned.  The position is approximately 8 hours per week and can be flexible to accommodate a school schedule.  A friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer service skills are a must.

Seasonal Park Rentals

ParkIf you are interested in renting one of the Village Park Pavilions for an upcoming event (graduation, birthday party, anniversary, etc.), rental is "frst come, first serve."  The summer calendar fills up quickly!  Contact Village Hall for rates and availability.

Service to the Village Recognized

hand shakeEmployees and volunteers were honored on February 15th for their years of service to the Village.  Years of Service Awards were presented to:  Helen Galvin - 40 yrs, Dale Freitag - 30 yrs, Laurie Miske, Jim White and Matt Geib - 25 yrs, Lynn Stark and Roy Wilhelm - 15 yrs, Dawn Wagner, Jared Cottrell, Jenny Kotecki, and Deanna Laabs - 10 yrs, Dan Helm and Jack Morrison - 5 yrs.  Thank you for your dedicated service to the Village.

Reporting Street Light Issues 

Street Lights

Street lights in the Village are owned and maintained by WE Energies.

 

If you notice a street light that is burned out, cycling on and off, or otherwise not working properly, please report the information directly to WE Energies at 800-662-4797.

 

When reporting defective street lights, it is important that you provide the following information:  pole number, street address location and/or pole location.

Unwanted Medications

Medications 2Please do not discard old medications by flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash.  This is unsafe and can lead to harmful substances in our water supply.  Store old/unused medications in a safe place and drop them in the Med-Return Collection box located in the lobby of the Village of Saukville Police Dept. during normal business hours.  Call the Police Dept. at 284-0444 for more information. 

 

Pet License Renewals

All Village of Saukville residents owning a dog or cat that is older than six months are required by Village Ordinance to purchase a pet license.  2013 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall during normal business hours.  A late penalty will be imposed for pet license processing after March 31, 2013.  Proof of rabies dog & catvaccination is required for all pet licensing. 

 

Dog License fees:

$8.00-spayed/neutered;$10.00 not spayed/neutered

$5.00 late penalty after March 31, 2013.

 

Cat License fees:

$5.00-spayed/neutered; $7.00 not spayed/neutered

$3.00 late penalty after March 31, 2013.
