Get "On the Map" for On the Map!

On the Map: Unfolding Albuquerque Art + Design is a cultural partnership that celebrates the art of central New Mexico with over 20 partnering organizations. From January through June of 2015, public institutions join private galleries to present exhibitions, lectures, performances and educational programming that investigate the diverse art of the greater Albuquerque region. This event places a comprehensive focus on art and design created in the Middle Rio Grande Basin, from contemporary to the earliest aesthetic objects created in the region.

The partners of On the Map are producing a large, printed, folding map of current galleries, visual arts organizations and performing arts venues.

Any galleries, visual arts organization or performance venues that have rotating programs devoted to the visual or performing arts - located within the Central-Middle Rio Grande Valley (Cochiti, Estancia, Acoma, Socorro) are invited to submit their location for inclusion "on the map".

Submissions are due by October 15th, 2014 to publicart@cabq.gov

Submissions must include the following information:

Venue/Organization Name

Physical Address

Phone

Website

Contact name

NOTE: Artists who have studios open to the public will be invited to submit their studio information in a subsequent call with a different deadline, so please stay tuned.

Please send your information for On the Map to publicart@cabq.gov
