Public Meeting About Iconic Artwork in Downtown Albuquerque

A public meeting is planned for Wednesday, July 16th, from 5:30-6:30, at the KiMo Theatre to share information and gather feedback about plans to locate more public artwork in Downtown Albuquerque. NM Lawyers for the Arts Workshop


The Albuquerque Public Art Program and the Albuquerque Museum are pleased to host New Mexico Lawyers for the Arts on Thursday, July 17th, from 6-8 pm for a free presentation on ethical gallery practices and how to address ethical dilemmas that arise inside the gallery-artist relationship. This is the second of three free workshops scheduled for the third Thursday of the summer months - June, July and August - where information about art law, copyright and censorship will be presented. New Program Being Offered at UNM


 

The Business of Art is a new professional development program designed in collaboration with the Anderson School of Management and the College of Fine Arts.  In this 8-week program, you will learn strategies to:

  • Manage your cash and price your goods to turn a profit
  • Gain popularity and increase sales without "selling out"
  • Protect your intellectual property and maintain your artistic style
 The Business of Art will be held Wednesdays, Sept. 24 - Nov. 12 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Register before August 15 for early bird savings!
Get Your Trial Membership with Americans for the Arts

 

Organizations new to Americans for the Arts' membership are eligible for big savings through our special trial membership if they join before August 31, 2014! Contact the membership team membership@artsusa.org for eligibility and details.
