Littleglobe is Looking for Local Artists

To kick off the first phase of "The Stories of Route 66", a City of Albuquerque partnership project recently funded by the National Endowment for the Arts Our Town grant, Littleglobe, a local non-profit arts engagement organization, is seeking 4 artists to be part of the community arts engagement process. The artist will be involved in producing works of art and/or performances suitable for public display at three sites in the International District by engaging Albuquerque residents in storytelling, art and the design of art/installation/performance sites that will serve as gateways to history and neighborhood stories.

Littleglobe will train the selected artists (in creative community engagement, diversity, community facilitation and more) between October and December, 2013; weekly community sessions (January-June 2014) and the production of art/performance in July 2014.

Submissions must be received via email no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013

Visit www.Littleglobe.org for more information and a complete set of application requirements.
