Join Editor and Producer, Anthony DellaFlora, the Public Art Program and GOV-TV staff for a special screening of a brand new public art mini-documentary, "Marking Time: The Center of the City Project," and the Emmy� Award Winning mini-documentary "Flight Path: The Flyway Project."
The free screenings will be held in Botts Hall at the newly renovated Special Collections Library on Thursday, October 18th at 6:00pm. Each video is about 25 minutes long.
The recently completed video, "Marking Time: The Center of the City Project," covers the collaborative process for creating and installing two artist designed markers at the 1912 and 2012 geographic centers of Albuquerque.
"Flight Path: The Flyway Project.", highlights the public process that the Westside land art public artwork went through to become a reality. "Flight Path" was just awarded a 2012 Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy on October 6th in Phoenix, AZ.

The annual Dia de los Muertos Art Show will be on display at the South Broadway Cultural Center from Oct. 28th to Nov. 17th, 2012. The Art reception is on Sunday October 28th from 12-5pm. The above image will be for sale as a poster and there will be numerous other works for sale as well.

Make sure you get yourself to the KiMo Gallery before the electronic public art proposals are taken down. Regular KiMo Gallery hours are
- Wednesday-Saturday 11:00, a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Public Art Staff will be on hand to answer any questions during the First Friday Arts Crawl on November 2nd from 5pm to 8pm.
