Yoga, as an asset for sports, is gaining more and more serious consideration among elite athletes. Professional athletes are discovering the many benefits of a regular yoga practice and taking their performance to a new level. Among the many benefits are improved flexibility, increased core strength and muscle tone, superior balance and body control, improved breathing and oxygen intake, better focus and concentration (which, by the way is a help for getting good grades!), injury prevention and faster recovery from injury.
