The organization had put out a call for Christmas cards to be sent to our troops serving overseas. Thanksgiving Food Drive Success
The Key Club's annual Thanksgiving food drive was a tremendous success. Hundreds of turkeys were dropped off in the Thursday morning cold, along with boxes upon boxes of food items, all to be given to Sister Theresa and the Daughters of Charity in Bridgeport. From faculty, parents, students and alumni, well over 200 frozen turkeys were donated and will certainly help to make the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday a special day for those enjoying the donated food. Special thanks to Mrs. Miller, Ms. Z and the entire Key Club for their efforts in organizing the food drive.

Donation to the American Cancer Society
An official donation in the amount of $1,501.00 was made this week to the American Cancer Society. Thanks to a dress down day in October and the collection efforts made at a home football game, a check was given to Kelly Stewart of the ACS, as part of the Crucial Catch fight against breast cancer campaign. Special thanks to Mariann Cirisoli and all the mothers who helped to ensure the success of this fundraising campaign.

Drama Club Visits Broadway

This year the group was treated to the Broadway Workshop, "Up Close and Personal". The class featured an hour long question and answer with John Arthur Green, an actor in the play Matilda. John performed three songs from the play and was happy to answer the many questions the students had for him.  After the class, the students walked to the Shubert Theater where they saw the Tony award winning play, Matilda.  This is the sixth year the Drama Club students have traveled to New York City.
