Please help spread the word to family and friends. To pre-register for the Open House, click here. Walk-a-thon Update

The Lancer Walk-a-thon is now scheduled for Friday, October 26. A letter was mailed to all families explaining the Walk-a-thon, which is the only school-wide fundraiser of the year. Each and every dollar goes to support our students. Since this is a student fundraiser, our students were able to vote on where they wanted their fundraising efforts to go...it was a unanimous decision to get new student lockers.  This year's goal is for every student to raise $100 and for the entire school to raise $30,000.

There are great prizes this year for reaching certain goals:

  • Highest Fundraiser - iPad 2
  • 2nd Highest Fundraiser - 32" HDTV
  • 3rd Highest Fundraiser - $100 Gift Card
  • All students who bring in $100 - dress down pass for midterm and finals week
  • All students who bring in $100 will be entered into a $50 cash prize drawing. Drawings will be held on 10/12, 10/17, and 10/22.
  • Special prize to the class who raises the most
  • A GREAT prize for everyone to be announced at the walk-a-thon if we reach our goal of $30,000.

Congratulations to Adam Riobo '16 who was the winner of the first $50 raffle.

Please help your son/daughter reach their fundraising goal of $100 by asking friends and family for their support. Of course, if you can't raise $100, any amount raised is greatly appreciated. Don't forget, if you work for a company that participates in a matching gift program, forms can be sent to school. Credit will be given for the money donated and matched. Please do not hesitate to contact Theresa Marzik at marzik@notredame.org or 203-372-6521 if you have any questions.  Thank you in advance for your support of our Lancer Walk-a-thon.

Cheerleaders Walk for a Cause

On Sunday, October 7, the Notre Dame Cheerleaders participated in the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention and Awareness Walk in Hamden. Money raised supports research aimed at improving our understanding of suicide and ways to prevent it, as well as educational programs to increase awareness about prevention, warning signs and the psychiatric illnesses that can lead to suicide. Over $400 was collected for this fundraising event.
The morning began with Mass in the Notre Dame Chapel followed by the 3.75 mile walk.  Thank you so much to all who donated money and time to this cause.
