I LOVE this line! It tells customers they will not need to go to any other store and that you are willing to do what it takes to find them what they want.

"Let's Go shopping!"
Women LOVE Shopping.
Just saying the word 'shopping' will get their attention. Plus it makes you sound FUN. Help the customer have more fun and you will make the sale. Don't sell, PLAY jewelry!
"Thank you for choosing Sam's Jewelers. Watches are over here. Our pearl boutique is on your right. The diamond counter is over there. Now, where do you want to get started?"
When you say "CHOOSING" it reinforces that they choose you and declares to them that they are your customer. Explaining where everything is in your store makes them feel more knowledgeable and comfortable.

2nd BASE
TO GET ON 2ND BASE YOU NEED TO RELATE THE JEWELRY TO THE CUSTOMER
Me Me Me
Listing features and benefits will not get you to 2nd base any more. Every customer looks at the piece of jewelry and thinks "How does that benefit ME?"
Value is all about personal interest. Something is of value because it's valuable to that person.
............................. Everything in your sales presentation needs to be DIRECTED TOWARDS THEM, not the jewelry!
Sell what the jewelry DOES, NOT what it is!!!
........................... HERE is an example... A woman comes in wanting to look nice for a big event. As you show her jewelry, do not talk about the jewelry. Talk about how amazing SHE will look in it! talk about how SHE deserves a shinny treat. Talk about how the color makes HER eyes look bigger, or about how cl  assy SHE will feel in it. DO NOT talk about why the necklace is good, talk about why it is GOOD FOR HER!
