Jewel Thief Leaves Her Name!

A woman who stole thousands of dollars of jewelry left not only her name, but her address as well. The 38 year old woman grabbed a tray of jewelry and ran. The police had very little trouble tracking her down because when she came in the store she had given her name and address to the jewelry store clerk when she asked to have her bracelet cleaned. She was arrested at home and the jewelry was recovered.

BURLINGTON, VT

A young man goes to ZALES to purchase an engagement ring. It's more than he wants to spend, so he grabs the ring and runs out the door. The problem arises AFTER he proposes as his fiance begins to show off her new ring. Excited about the engagement, she posts three pictures of the ring on Facebook. Vermont police matched the pictures with the picture of the stolen ring.

FAKE ROBBERY

A woman sold her gold jewelry to a gold buyer then claimed it was stolen. She told the police she was walking her dog and came home to see an intruder fleeing with $4900 in jewelry. After further investigation, including a copy of the woman's drivers license from the gold buyer, she admitted to her crime.

SUPER GRANNY

A 75 year old woman used her purse to take on six robbers! Six men with sledgehammers were attempting a smash and grab at a jewelry store. The older woman rushed into action hitting them with her handbag, causing them to flee empty handed.

LEXINGTON KY

A man, who stole several pieces of jewelry from a Castle Jewelers in Pikeville KY was later caught trying to sell the items to Castle Jewelers in Lexington! Castle regional manger said the items were distinctive & easily identified.
