Despite the recent bout of cold weather, we are beginning to plan for next school year and beyond!
2015 Next Generation and Bond Referendum Informational Meeting
One item that could have a major impact on your student's educational experience in Edina is the 2015 Bond Referendum. On March 24 at 7:00 PM in the Normandale auditorium, Superintendent Dressen will provide Normandale parents an overview of the Bond Referendum and Edina's plans for Next Generation Schools and answer questions on how these impact Normandale facilities, staffing and families. More information about the 2015 Bond Referendum can be found on the Edina Schools website.
2015- 16 Parent Input Forms
Parents wishing to provide input as we begin the process for classroom placement for the fall are encouraged to fill out and submit the Parent Input Form online. This online form is due March 27 and replaces the paper copies used in prior years.

Edina PCN Presents: Parenting Different Personality Types: Identifying Strategies for Success
Monday, March 2, 2015
South View Auditorium

Jane Kise will address the strengths and needs pertinent to each of the unique children in your care. This forum will help you:
* determine how your child learns best
* identify strategies that best assist each child in finding their success
* find better ways to help your child navigate the worlds of school, friendships, siblings and sports
These tools will help you develop homework, discipline, family routine, and other strategies that will work to strengthen your child's development.
Kise founded Differentiated Coaching Association to increase leadership effectiveness for business leaders, education leaders, as well as teachers-our leaders in the classroom. She also works as a consultant, specializing in team building, leadership coaching, and staff development. Ms. Kise is the co-author of 20 books; she holds an MBA from Carlson School of Management, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. She has worked with various organizations across North America, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.
In order to offset rising costs, we will be offering CEU credits for $20.
