Classroom Information Night

September 11 from 5:30-6:10 and 6:20-7:00

Thursday, September 11th is Classroom Information Night. This event is for parents/guardians only. Teachers will be presenting grade-level information about expectations, procedures, curriculum, etc. at two sessions: 5:30-6:10 and 6:20-7:00. Sessions are identical so parents can attend either time or attend the first session for one child and the second session for another child. Please note: these are presentations, not an open house, so please plan to arrive at the start of the session and stay for the entire time.

Media Center Needs You

Are you looking for a place you can volunteer and help make a difference at your child's school? Please consider volunteering in the Media Center. We need help with book checkout, shelving books, and digitizing our media collection. Come help and share a few minutes with your student(s) when they come to the Media Center. You don't have to commit to a long period of time or a specific time every week. You can volunteer for a little as an hour at a time. The need is especially great on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

If you have questions or want to sign up, contact Michelle Langefels952-941-2247 or Tracy Pearson at 952 848-4121

Thank you. We look forward to seeing you!

Intern Overnight

Want to get to know this year's French interns?

The French Intern overnight is coming up September 12-13 and we are looking for a few volunteers for food and driving/chaperoning. Chaperoning is a great way to get to know your child's intern, to play some fun American games (we usually play baseball) and to have a fun night with s'mores near a campfire. Chaperons/drivers will leave from Normandale right after school on Friday and return Saturday morning. Another way to help is to drop off food (at the Nordin's house) that we will serve for snacks, dinner, and breakfast.

Please sign up to donate food or drive/chaperon on our Google doc

Thank you very much for your support!  If you have any other questions, please contact Kimberly Whalen
