Principal's Weekly

Dear Normandale Families,

Next year there will be some new faces in the building along with a new principal!

Madame Curran Dorsano is retiring after a dedicated career of 22 years at Normandale. Tom Konicek will be on leave because he and his wife have accepted a two-year assignment abroad. Sara Janousek has been granted a leave to spend more time with family and Megan Botham will move to 5th grade. Bianca Suglia is on family leave for a year with her brand-new daughter born April 16th.

The pool of candidates for the openings in 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grades is promising and hiring interviews have begun.

We'll see lots of green soon and we'll celebrate at the Normandale Carnival!

My door is always open,

Gerry Lukaska

Carnival is Saturday, May 3 at 4:30!

Carnival is coming!

Our school carnival is the one thing our kids look forward to--and remember - from year to year.  Plus, the proceeds help fund our award-winning intern program. Buy your tickets here and experience three hours of game-playing, prize-winning, dancing, face-painting, dunk-tanking, raffle-playing fun with friends.

Remember, buy tickets in advance and you'll receive a 30% discount!

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
There's no carnival without volunteers! We need ALL families to volunteer for the carnival to be a success. Shifts are only one hour and we need volunteers to staff the Games in particular. Please sign up for a volunteer shift.

PLEASE DONATE TO THE RAFFLE BASKET FUND!
Please help make raffle baskets possible by donating $10/student (or any amount you can afford) online through PayPal, or drop off a check with Anne or Karen at the front desk. THANK YOU!!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Medication Reminder

With allergy season upon us, please remember that the Health Office cannot administer medications without a doctors order, parent permission and an original labeled container. For more information regarding medication at school, please click here
