InnovateSTEEL SHOP DRAWING / MODEL REVIEW RESOURCES
      
To help engineers looking for more information on improving their steel shop drawing review processes (model review), SE University has put together a resource page on the LearnWithSEU website. Here you can learn more about the programs that are available for the model review process, and have easy access to a collection of links to articles and recorded sessions on model review. Included on this page is the April 2010 SE University session, during which case studies were presented by engineers using model review.

ExcelSTATES WITH UPCOMING LICENSE RENEWALS
   
There are a number of states with license renewals due by September 30th:
  
Kentucky (June 30th, Last Names A-K)
Louisiana (September 30th, Varies)
Oregon (June 30th, Last Names G-K)
Pennsylvania (September 30th, All Engineers)
Rhode Island (June 30th, Varies)
  
In addition to the states listed above, there are other states that may require renewal based on your initial date of licensure or other rules for that state. Please check your license information to confirm your renewal dates.  
  

For more information about license renewal, please visit our Continuing Education Requirements by State page, where you can click on states in which you are licensed to see the license renewal date, as well as the continuing education requirements for that state. If you would like a complete summary of all 50 states, a PDF file is available for download below the map. This option can also be selected if you are viewing the page from a mobile device.

NextSessUPCOMING SE UNIVERSITY SESSION: JUNE 12TH 
  

On June 12th, we welcome Karyn Beebe to SE University for a session on Force Transfer Around Openings for Wood Shear Walls. This session will look at a joint research project that studied the effects of the sizes of wall openings, and will share test results from the full-scale wall configurations.

 

Handouts and registration emails for this session will be sent to SE University companies on Friday, June 7, 2013.
