The grounds at Klehm Arboretum are owned by the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County. In partnership with the Blackhawk Area Council, the Forest Preserves are presenting a Scout Day on August 20, 2016.
 
From 9AM-12N, scouts can earn conservation service hours by participating in a volunteer workday. 
From 12N-4PM, scouts can complete Cub Scout Adventures, Boy Scout rank advancements, or earn the Nature merit badge.
 
If 10 adults/scouts volunteer, they will earn a $100 Forest Preserve Gift Card that can be used at any Winnebago County Forest Preserve property.
