Get Outside! Winnebago Day
The gardens are blooming at Klehm! Stop by and enjoy our beautiful, manicured gardens and take a free ride on the Klehm Express Shuttle on Tuesday, July 1st. Rides are unscheduled and will run throughout the day til 2pm. Klehm's paved trail is an ideal place to push a stroller and provides a flat, smooth surface for easy walking for all ages. Don't miss the Children's Garden with hedge maze and lookout tower. See how many nature items you can find on our Scavenger Hunt, then we will stamp your Get Outside! passport. All-in-all, a great day to celebrate nature at Klehm!
This is also Donation Day at the Arboretum. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.

Woodsong Outdoor Concert

The Saturday June Band plays rock favorites from classic to contemporary and has performed at Navy Pier and Chicagofest. Woodsong Concerts are held outdoors on the lawn in Klehm's magnificent Fountain Garden. Bring a chair, pillow or blanket and a picnic dinner. Concerts are held rain or shine! We will move inside, if it rains.

Creating Miniature Gardens

Master Gardener, Michelle Cox, gives a demonstration on fairy gardens. Learn how to create your own miniature garden! We will review themes, designs with a focal point, planting and care practicalities, container choices and types of plants and accessories.
