Hiking for Hounds: the Costume Contest

Hiking for Hounds is a community dog walk, raising awareness and support for local organizations dedicated to man's best friend. Visitors are encouraged to offer cash donations to support Kibble Korner, Rockford's pet food pantry. Kibble Korner has a mission to keep our area's pets fed and in the homes they know and love. With cash donations, they are able to buy food at a discount making your contribution go farther.

Admission is half price all day, so bring your costumed canine friends to spend a day exploring our entire 155 acres of gardens and grounds. We have picnic sites and Coley's Cooler will be on hand serving hot dogs. Plus, the Canine Crunchery will be selling wholesome treats to pamper your pooch. At 1pm, dog owners are encouraged to enter their furry friends into a free costume contest. Prizes will be awarded, and everyone will be able to take home good memories and pictures.
