Saturday, May 25,2013
9am-11am

We invite you to take a closer look at the small side of nature. Join Walter Piorkowski, a local photomicroscopist with over 35 years experience, as he teaches the techniques and forms of photography used to capture the smallest subjects in nature. Mr. Piorkowski has received international recognition for his photomicrographic work. In addition to the techniques and software relating to the exciting application of "image stacking," the presentation will cover photo basics, specialized equipment and lighting. Mr. Piorkowski will give an introduction to the use of the microscope and the making of photomicrographs, plus show some of his work in this field. Don't miss this fascinating class and the opportunity to capture nature on a new, smaller level.   Take a closer look...
