National Public Gardens Day takes place annually on Mother's Day weekend, an unofficial start of spring and a time when the environment is top of mind. Visit Klehm any time this weekend to discover and explore our garden, while learning about our commitment to education, research and environmental stewardship. Spring Plant Sale - Free Admission both Days

Sunday, May 12, 2013 9am to 2pm
Plan to spend time this Mother's Day weekend shopping for this year's plants. The Plant Sale expands to include our outdoors location, too. Choose from thousands of colorful plants, including unique varieties from local nurseries. Afterwards, you're welcome to stroll the Klehm's beautiful grounds and see what's blooming. The garden will be open during normal hours.
Driver Volunteers Needed
Klehm is in need of people to drive our Klehm Express in order to provide tours to our visitors. The tours are guided by a prerecorded presentation as you drive through the the paved areas of the garden. Drivers should be comfortable driving a 12 person shuttle.. Please call 815-965-8146 if you are able to contribute your time.
