New Acropolis Mumbai E- Newsletter

We are back from a Diwali break to enter what looks like a beautiful winter. There is a positive sentiment in India with industry showing fresh buds of revival and the markets climbing enthusiastically.

We too as philosophers have much to cheer! This is a special time of the year! Nature's indicators are clear - with longer nights, trees shedding their leaves and most of nature going into hibernation. This is a time to sync with this cycle. To internalize and work on building and strengthening ourselves. These gains unlike the economy and the markets, stay with us forever!

UNESCO celebrates "World Philosophy Day" on the third Thursday of November every year. We also have an event associated with this special day. Please mark your calendar, the details will be in your inbox shortly.

In addition to our public events, we also have a new 'Living Philosophy' course - our concise 15 week introductory course to philosophy starting next week! Details are below.

We hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,
New Acropolis Mumbai

And so.....the story of two monks traveling towards a temple for the first time. After a few days the road they were traveling on separated to two paths, each one of them leading towards a different direction and without any signs that could help them to understand which path they should chose.

One of them sat down and was contemplating on the problem. The other, hint less of which path was the right one, decided to take the left path and started walking.
