My precious and very dear mother-in-law just today, went home to be with Jesus.
My wife and I will miss her deeply. She touched the lives of so many people with her kindness and her interest in them and in what was happening in their lives.
So long Ellen. Thanks for making me feel special. I always reminded her that I was her favorite son-in-law! Of couse, I am her only son-in-law, but why mince words, right? I always teased her, and I really think she loved it! I'm going to miss this woman ...
Former Rosie Riveter, Nurse, and single Mom for the longest time, on-her-own ... raising 3 kids! She even took them all on a vacation to Canada! That's a big deal for a single Mom, trying to make ends meets while raising 3 growing kids ... all by yourself. But she did it!
Goodbye to my singing buddy ... We'll have to catch up when Jane and I return home. It won't be for a while here, but there ... it'll seem like moments. See you soon, Ellen!

Happy Thanksgiving! -1%20(tu).JPG) from pastor Rich Allcorn, and his son John My wife and I, and our family, wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all Happy Thanksgiving! My youngest son, John, put it this way ...
"As we come into this holiday of thankfulness and Thanksgiving, and as we gather with family, look around you and be thankful for the simple things that you have ... family, food, shelter, for there are many in our world who do not. This season, please remember to be thankful to GOD for all that HE has blessed us with." (John Allcorn)
As a parent, we all know how easy it is to bless one of our children who is always thankful and appreciative. How much more for GOD, when HE has a son or a daughter who is constantly thanking him, sincerely, for what they have, and in everything blessing the Father for HIS goodness ... Wouldn't you think it would be easiest to bless this person? Remember that this holiday season, and as John says, take stock in the little things around you that you have. GOD has truly blessed you ... even with life itself. HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the Allcorn Family!
