ACTIVATING YOUR FAITH?
(Part 3 of 4)
from pastor Rich Allcorn

The Bible tells us that "faith" is the evidence, the real world proof of what we are praying for, before we ever see it in the physical realm.  The more real your faith confession is, the more you believe it.  And the more you believe it, the more real it becomes!

Faith is the "food" of your spirit man, in the same way that a steak meal is the food for your body!  If you don't eat, then you grow tired and weary, and your strength is severely limited.  Unlike the body, the spirit man will not "die" if you don't eat, but it will not produce nor will it perform as it should, without that nourishment!  It must have "faith"! Without it ... life begins to change, for the worse, and trouble and trials begin will surely overtake us.

So, we allow ourselves to get into a rut through life.  We stop reading our Bible, and praying in the Spirit, and spending time alone in fellowship with God ... all of which are well-known methods and means of building up your faith and your spirit man, or in other words, "in feeding" your faith.

Your spirit being needs spiritual food ... faith, to live and to function properly.  Without it, your spirit will be weak, unproductive and prone to spiritual defeat by the enemy.

The answer?

1.  Get in that Bible and "feed"!

2.  Listen to those preaching tapes and build up your faith!

3.  Pray in the Spirit, building up your most "holy" faith!

4.  Spend time with your Father.  He misses you!

... and remember, KEEP SAYING to your spirit man:
"Spirit man!  I speak to you, in the name of Jesus!  I command you to prepare yourself for change!  I command you to prepare yourself for renovation, for an overhaul, and for improved results ... in the name of Jesus!"     "A-men!"

Make me proud!
