Ever play ball with the kid who "owns" the bat and ball?  If you have, you know that he is not on your side.  YOU have to be on "HIS" side.  For you see, it is HIS game!  And we don't play 9-inning games ... we play 'til "he wins"! 

Well, it's much the same way with GOD, and it is important to know the difference between GOD being on YOUR side, and you being on GOD's side. 

You see, if GOD is on YOUR side, then YOU are calling all of the shots!  YOU are in charge, and this is YOUR game.  The problem with that line of thinking is that GOD is the One with "The Plan"!  You see, you can play the game, but HE can "WIN" the game!  HE is the "Man with The Plan". 

So the next time you wanna state your stance, re-phrase your positioning, and be one "in-the-know". 

You are on GOD's side! 
If you will give this some thought you will find that it will revolutionize your entire line of thinking!  You will begin to realize that YOU are a member of GOD's Family, not the other way around.  And YOU are the SENT ONE, and not the one sending.  You see, even Jesus put GOD "first".  He always re-directed folks to The Father.  "It is The Father, He doeth the works you see."  He never took credit for GOD's works! 

But wait a minute pastor , when Jesus healed the man who was lame, He said, "I will."  He told that man that He healed him."  And He did!  And when you lay hands on someone, YOU are healing them too!  BUT, you need to remember (as Jesus did) that IT IS THE POWER THAT IS WITHIN YOU that is doing the healing.  Your act of will, to apply your faith is performing the healing, and it is using God's power to do it!  This is very much like your switching on a light in your house.  Now, we all know that it is not by YOUR MIGHTY POWER that the lights come on, is it?  No.  The power company provides the power.  But, and I want you to notice this:   IT IS YOU WHO TURNS THE LIGHTS ON!  

Now let's review that again.  YOU turned on the lights right?  But the "power" came from the utility company, the power company.  And YOU heal someone when you lay hands on them, but the "power" comes from the Spirit of GOD.  And once you get this straight, the devils attempts to stop you in healing are practically gone!  He wants you to think little of yourself.  He doesn't want you to see you as GOD sees you! 

But in reality, when YOU walk into the room, GOD walks into the room!  And when Satan sees YOU coming down the road, he only sees THE ARMOR OF GOD!  So, he doesn't really know if it is GOD, or one of His kids, pretending to be Him!  And "that' makes him real nervous!!  But, if he can get you to call out, "Don't worry devil, it's just little ole me.  I can't do anything."  then he's got you! 

But when you come, marching down the street with boldness and confidence, filled with the Spirit of the Living GOD, and wearing His armor?  That's a different thing altogether!  Then, when you open your mouth, you are speaking THE WORD of GOD, so for all Satan knows, YOU ARE GOD!! 

And this was GOD's plan all along ... to make sons and daughters who could walk "in His shoes" and who could "wear His clothes" and freak out the devil!  But it's more than that ... it's a way for GOD to be "everywhere", all-at-once!  For in YOU, He can reach ... the World!
