Health Tips! 
How'd you do with the turkey? How about those roles and pies? Did you eat well, or did you gorge?
The way you "eat" is the way you are going to "look"! Being overweight can be a real bummer, a let down. And if you don't get serious, it can affect your health as well!
Do you want to die young? Wouldn't you like to enjoy your later years with good health and vitality? Rather be in a rest home, using a walker, and barely able to get around? I didn't think so. BUT, if YOU don't get serious about this weight, and about your health, the "devil" will see to it that you get just that!
You just enjoyed a big Thanksgiving feast of "turkey" ...
Now, let's treat the devil to a big feast of "crow"! PROVE HIM WRONG!!
Exercise! Eat healthy! Lose that weight! GET SERIOUS about it!

A Word from pastor Rich  I love my parents!
Oh, I'm sure you love yours too, but you see there are no other parents like "my" parents! They have been the most AWESOME blessing to me ... and they were sent to me from GOD to raise me!
How was your THANKSGIVING? Did you take time to be "Thankful"? Or did you eat way, way too much and then go sit on the recliner and sleep your day away until the football games come on?
Yeah, pitiful isn't it. But THAT is what a great deal of American's do with their Thanksgiving holiday!
Did you list the things you are thankful for? Did you even bother to pray and thank God? Oh, I'm sure you did ... I believe in you guys!
Now remember, our "thanksgiving" doesn't stop with the holiday! We have to be "thankful" all year round!
Practice that! Make it a fine art as to how "thankful" you can be ... in all things! You will find that you begin to draw God's "favor" to you when you do!

Margarett ParkerMargarett, associate pastor, is also director of foreign missions. She is licensed and ordained, and has earned her BA in Biblical & Theological Studies as well. Pastor Margarett recently traveled to Kenya, on her own, and ministered to hundreds while there! |
