This conference is one of the best events in the country to learn sustainable and organic agriculture from those who have practical experience in the field. Over 90% of those who attend report they will immediately make use of something they learned at the conference.

Can you afford to miss it?
This is a great learning opportunity, but don't just take our word for it...
"...the SSAWG conference has been the single biggest influence on my development as a grower--more than the university classes I've taken, the books I've read or the workshops I've attended. The inspiration that I get at the conference each year carries me through the season and makes me hungry to improve our operation. I can't say how much I've learned from the farmers that give their time to teach these sessions."
-- 2016 conference attendee
"When I'm weeding and sweating in July, SSAWG is that voice that tells me I'm part of something bigger: a movement toward more sustainable farming and local foods in the South. SSAWG is the collective voice of all fellow farmers and local food advocates in the South."
-- 2016 conference attendee
"Sustainable agriculture is the grassroots movement that has the potential to cross the color line and create a better and more just community for our children."
-- 2016 conference attendee

We Will Be There!

Our conference is well known for all the educational sessions for both new and established growers, but it is equally well known for the networking, conversations, and sharing that goes on among our attendees outside of the sessions. Find out who else is coming to Lexington. Check out the list of attendees already registered for the conference here.
