Come Early for Thursday Evening's Events!
Let's Kick Off the Conference with a Celebration of the Past 25 Years of Sustainable Agriculture!

It is by many, many people and groups working at all levels-- farm, community, state, regional and national-- that so much has been accomplished over the last 25 years! Our Voices from the Field events will gives us a chance to reflect, celebrate and be inspired.

There is still time to add your voice to our interactive timeline of the last 25 years of sustainable agriculture. This invitation is open to all, regardless of whether or not you plan to attend SSAWG's 25th annual conference, so please let us hear from you soon.
  1. In a few words, a description of the milestone event or accomplishment you think contributed to the growth of local food and sustainable ag in our region. If relevant, include name of entity and location (such as name and location of farm).
  2. The date (or time range) when it happened/was established so we can put it in the correct position on our timeline.
  3. Your name (But let us know if you want your entry listed anonymously on the timeline.)
  4. A photo or two, if you have them. We'd love this!
Please send information about the things you want to celebrate to Skip Polson via email: skippolson@nc.rr.com.

We'll have our interactive Voices from the Field Memorial on display, commemorating those from our field who have passed on, but whose voices are not forgotten. Bring photos!

Even if you can't attend the conference this year, we still welcome your input. To help remember and recognize those in sustainable agriculture who have gone on before us, please email a memorial --and include a photo-- to Skip Polson at skippolson@nc.rr.com.
