Congratulations to Our Contest Winners!
Congrats to Maggie B. and Carolyn G., winners of our Show Off Your Sustainable Farm photo and video contest. The photo displayed above shows Maggie sowing cover crops in fall of 2014 on their vegetable, cut flower and pastured meat farm. Carolyn's video below, explains how their value-added granola supports their beginning farm business as well as other local farmers. Both winners shared how Southern SAWG has helped their farm operations to grow and become profitable. (Click on the images to view.)
Maggie and Carolyn will each receive a conference registration to our 2016 conference, coming up January 2016. Many thanks to our judges, who had the difficult task of choosing just one winner in each category.

Name the Milestones
As part of Southern SAWG's 25th anniversary, we want to reflect on the contributions we all, as a community, have made to the growth in sustainable agriculture and local foods. What were your contributions and what other happenings changed the landscape for you?
The milestones and achievements you help identify will be included in an interactive timeline at our conference and then presented to the public. Help us capture and commemorate this growth for all to celebrate. Click here to learn more.
