Gulf Coast Destination!

For those who wish to make a vacation out of your trip south, our hotels will extend the discounted lodging rates beyond our conference dates. Mobile has a rich Mardi Gras history, and you will get a sample at the mixer on Thursday night, featuring live music by Excelsior brass band. This river delta area also offers many great experiences for nature lovers. In addition to nearby beaches, birding, fishing and hiking opportunities, just 15 miles from the convention center is your gateway to Alabama's largest National Natural Landmark and second largest river delta in America.

Of course Mobile has a lot for the history buffs too, including the USS Alabama battleship, forts, and museums. And there is plenty of art to enjoy in Mobile with a great art museum across town and the art community of Fairhope across the bay. Two major attractions are just steps from our facilities: Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center & IMAX Theater. Click here to use this activity finder to explore all Mobile has to offer.
