Wanted: A Few Good (not tall) Farm Tales

Got an amazing farm tale to tell? We'd love to hear it! At our Practical Tools and Solutions For Sustaining Family Farm Conference this January in Mobile,"Tales from the South", a public radio program, will be taping talented farmers at our conference reading their own true stories. 

 

Submit your story for consideration for the show! Those selected for the show will receive a FREE conference registration. 

 

Deadline for submissions is December 1, 2014 and you must be able to attend the Saturday evening recording. Click here for submission details

Fee Waiver Deadlines Fast Approaching!
2015 Conference Fee Waivers

This year there are several options for those looking for a fee waiver to participate in our Practical Tools and Solutions for Sustaining Family Farms Conference to be held in Mobile, Alabama, January 14-17, 2015. 
  1. Submit your story for the Tales From the South event at the conference and if it is accepted for the show, you get a FREE conference registration. Click here for submission details

  2. Alabamians: Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network (ASAN) is offering a limited number of full and partial conference fee waivers (no travel funds) for Alabama's sustainable farming population. Application deadline is December 1. 

  3. Military Veterans: The University of Arkansas and the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) is offering a limited number of scholarships (conference fees and travel funds) to military veterans. Application deadline is December 12.

  4. Delmarva farmers: Historic Lewes Farmers Market is offering a limited number of scholarships (conference fees and travel funds) for their farmer vendors. Deadline is December 15.

  5. Southern farmers or soon-to-be-farmers: Southern SAWG is offering a limited number of conference fee waivers (no travel funds). Application deadline is December 1.
