The Southern SAWG conference has so much to offer and so many sessions from which to choose! Whether rural or urban, plants or livestock, market management or farm policy--there is something of value for everyone. Just look at our program and you will see all the available options.
With all these choices, how do you decide? Since you can't be in two sessions at once, so we highly recommend you bring a partner so you can split up, share notes afteward and get the most from this event. |
Our conference is well known for all of the high quality, much needed and timely educational sessions you get. But we're told the networking, conversations, and sharing that goes on among our attendees outside of the sessions is highly valuable also. This year, for the first time, you can take a peek at our attendance list to see who's coming — and adding value to those "between session moments." Check back often as the list grows daily—swelling to 1,200 with on-site registration! Be sure to add your name to this growing list. Who knows? You might inspire someone else to attend the conference. Click here to see who's coming! |

Darlington "Chongo" Mundende, Associate Professor, Langston University (OK)
"Since I first attended the conference in New Orleans, I have always looked forward to this conference. Frankly, I was just as excited about going to the conference as I was about visiting the "Big Easy" for the first time, but when the meetings started, I got hooked to the concept, people, and program. This was a different kind of meeting: producers talked to producers about what had worked or failed on their farms and ranches. They talked about what was good for the environment and a sustainable future. I determined to bring producers every year so that they too could learn about their opportunities." |
Join Us on the Coast this January!
Have you made your plans to attend yet? We have a great lineup with plenty of session offerings. Click here to see our full program and you’ll see there’s just no sense in missing this year’s conference. |
