Christmas sweaterDidn't Get What You Wanted for Christmas?

Give yourself (or your favorite farmer) a gift that really fits— a registration to attend the Southern SAWG conference in Little Rock! This is a gift that will keep on giving, long after the tinsel and glitter are gone.

Pre-Registration
Deadline Looming

Pre-registration continues through January 11th. Download a registration form or register online. After that, registration will be on location in Little Rock. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Field Trips Are Filling Up

Field trip #1 is full. There is still time to register for one of the other four fabulous field trips, but don't delay. Visit some of Central Arkansas' successful farming operations, school gardens or the Heifer International Ranch. Click here to read about these offerings. Pre-register today to secure your seat!

Silent Auction
Donations Needed

Silent AuctionDonations are still being accepted for the silent auction. This auction helps raise funds to support the critical work of Southern SAWG. Donations of farm related items— supplies, tools, equipment, value-added products, books, etc.— are greatly appreciated. Click here to learn how you can make your donation.

Lodging Deadline for Group Rate: January 11

To receive our excellent group rate of $89.00 per room, plus taxes, you need to book your lodging before January 11, 2013. Prices increase sharply after this date.

The Peabody is sold out of lodging rooms on the nights of January 24 & 25, 2013. BUT, there are still plenty of rooms at our overflow hotel, the Doubletree. The Doubletree Hotel is just one block away.

Register for a
Pre-conference Intensive
Short Course

Get more bang for your travel dollars by expanding your trip to include one of the four outstanding pre-conference short courses we are offering this year. Among the offerings are Start-Up Organic Vegetable Production and Marketing; High Tunnel Production and Marketing; Controlled Grazing Management; and Growing Farm Profits. Past attendees say the handouts alone are worth the price of the course. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, as space is limited.

The Growing Farm Profits course, being offered through funding from the USDA Southern Risk Management Education Center, is an especially good value.
