Greetings!
New MexiCann is Now Spinning Pressed Kief Hash for Patients:
In the last Newsletter, I explained our process for spinning our Pressed Kief Hash. Several Patients contacted me and asked if we could create this Hash for Patients using their own plant material from their PPL grows. The answer is YES WE CAN!
We have taken a look at the time it takes - going out and purchasing dry ice, crumbling the trim or bud and weighing it out, cleaning and setting up the machine for spinning, spinning the hash, collecting and gathering the kief, weighing the resulting kief and packing and labeling it. Based on the time needed, we are happy to do this for $25 a spin. We can handle up to 225 grams per spin so it works out to $20 for each half pound of trim or bud that you give us. You will get somewhere between 8% & 15% from each half pound of trim and more from bud. 8% to 15% will amount to 18 to 33 grams.
After spinning, we normally press our Kief Hash into 2 gram pucks. We use a hydraulic press and low temperature heat for this. If you would like the Hash we spin from your plant material to be pressed into pucks, we are happy to do this for you. We will charge $2.50 per puck. You can make these in 2, 3 , 4, or 5 gram pucks. Our charge is per puck not by size, so the larger you make your pucks, the less it will cost you overall. In the above example, if you spin half a pound of trim and get 11% yield (about average), your cost would be $20 for the spin and $12.50 for 5 pucks - a total of $37.50 for about 24 grams of hash. That works out to $1.56 per gram - we sell our Pressed Kief Hash for $25 a gram when using our own plant material.
Let us know if you would like us to turn some of your harvest into Pressed Kief Hash. Our turn around time for you will usually be a week or less. This is a great way to reduce the weight you are holding from your harvest and make it easier to stay within the 6 oz limit of the NM Medical Cannabis Program Rules.

We have just completed the creation of two new balms. These use New MexiCann plant material and are fabricated for us by Sandia Botanicals (Lotus Heart Apothecary). The first of these is called Super Arnica Relief Salve. It is designed to offer relief from pain associated with arthritis, fibromyalga, bruising and muscular pain, strain and sprain. The second salve is Super Sacred Circle salve. If you need more time to get to the meeting point please tell us when you place your order so we can let the driver know to call you with more lead time.
