This administration wanted to ban AR-15's outright and that failed. Now they are looking for any backdoor loophole they can find to limit their use by taking ammunition off the market. Furthermore, the Second Amendment was not enshrined in the Bill of Rights with the idea they wanted to protect sport shooting. It was most certainly written to ensure that the American people had the means necessary to throw off a tyrannical government. Today we live in a corrupt and morally imbalanced society where making such a statement in a Fox interview on September 16, 2010 earned me a listing on the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence's Insurrectionism Timeline. Such will never preclude me from speaking the truth. I'll wear that as a badge of honor. George Mason, co-author of the Second Amendment said, "I ask, Sir, what is the militia? This grab for ammo will not stop here just as the grab for guns has not stopped. They've been working every angle they can think of. Recall the multiple attempts to ban lead? This fight is not just about one type of ammunition. It is about a grab for freedom and liberty. And if the American people don't start getting engaged it will continue. I received an email yesterday from a member that contained one question. He said, "What is the NRA doing about this?" I submit that certainly the NRA is doing everything possible to prevent this and in fact are leading the charge against it, but I'll ask you a question sir. What are YOU doing about it? Are you a member? Have you written and called your U.S. Senator and your U.S. Representative? Have you submitted your comments to the ATF during this public comment period? The deadline for that is March 16, 2015. Quit being a sheep and get busy being a sheepdog.
