FYI...
Thank You. This time of the year most of us look around and realize how blessed we are. We are thankful. I am no exception. I have been blessed with a job that I have been able to minister the children and families of Broadway over the past 6 1/2 years. What a thrill it has been! I am so thankful for you, your families and your children.
As of November 30th, I will be stepping down from my position and Aimee McBride will be taking over as the Coordinator of Children's Ministries here at Broadway. Aimee brings a magnitude of leadership skills, passion, energy, and new ideas to better a program that is already so strong. Please welcome her and support her as you have me over all these years.
Thank you for blessing me with your children. They have made my heart sing and love at the same time. And just so you know...I will still be around to love on them.
Blessings to you and your precious children this day and always,
Barb Stephenson

Worshipping God Through Music and Dance
Music Opportunities Kid's Choir
Children in Kindergarten-second grade are invited to join the Kids Choir on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:25 a.m. in the Heavenly Music room on the upper level of the CLC. Children will be released in time to attend their full Pathways class. All children participating will be escorted from choir to their classes, upon completion of practice. The children are currently rehearsing the songs for the Children Christmas Program during this time.
Alleluia Singers
Children in third through fifth grades may participate in the Alleluia Singers. The Alleluia Singers will rehearse from 12:15-1:00pm on Sundays. Starting November 1st, practice for the Alleluia singers will be moved to 4-5:00pm on Sunday afternoons, in order to rehearse for the Children's Christmas Program.
We are pleased to offer these opportunities for your children as they increase their musical understanding through singing, listening, instruments, tonal and rhythm patterns... all this while having fun! We will also be sharing our gifts of song periodically in the worship services.
Questions? Please contact Kathy Carson, Director,( kathyscarson@yahoo.com or call 573-256-9301).
Liturgical Dance Opportunity

What are your Children Learning?
Our Current Pathways Unit at a Glance
Our elementary aged kids rotate between classes offering hands on learning experiences in art, cooking/science, drama, storytelling, games, music and movies.
This Sunday, November 29th, we will start our Christmas Unit, Follow the Star. During this unit, the children will hear and learn the story of how the Wise Men traveled miles and miles following a star to find and worship the young Jesus. The children will also learn about the gifts the wise men offered to Jesus as a form of worship and explore ways we can worship Jesus today, including offering our gifts.
One of the most important experiences the children have during each unit is participating in an outreach project. For this unit, the children will be wrapping small stuffed animals that will later be taken to Children's Hospital for distribution as Christmas gifts to the young patients.
