Summer CampIt's time to start thinking about warmer weather and register for summer camp! Summer camp is a great way for your child to build friendships and learn more about God. For those of you with younger children who might not know much about camp offerings, there is an amazing opportunity for your family to attend camp together.  A Try-It Camp is offered for children ages 4years-2nd Grade. Registration Forms for all camps, (there is a separate registration form for Try-it Camp), can be picked up in the church office or online at (http://nearea.org).

2014 Children's Christmas Program: Broadway's 2014 Children's Christmas Program was such an unforgettable, fabulous event, that we had to post it for the world to see!  If you would like to watch it, please go to:

11th Commandments: After studying the Ten Commandments last summer, the Pathway's Kids had the opportunity to come up with their own commandment- an 11th Commandment. Each Sunday, one of these is featured in the Worship Bulletin. We hope you enjoy these sweet thoughts from the mouths of Broadway's babes.
Worshipping God Through Music and Dance

Music Opportunities
Kids Choir
Children in Kindergarten-second grade are invited to join the Kids Choir on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:25 a.m. in the Heavenly Music room on the upper level of the CLC. Children will be released in time to attend their full Pathways class.  All children participating will be escorted from choir to their classes, upon completion of practice.

Alleluia Singers
Children in third through fifth grades may participate in the Alleluia Singers. The Alleluia Singers rehearse at 4:00pm on Sunday afternoons in the Music Center.

We are pleased to offer these opportunities for your children as they increase their musical understanding through singing, listening, instruments, tonal and rhythm patterns... all this while having fun! We will also be sharing our gifts of song periodically in the worship services.

Questions? Please contact Kathy Carson, Director,([email protected] or call 573-256-9301).

Liturgical Dance Opportunity
Children in second through eighth grades are invited to participate in a liturgical dance team that will perform periodically during worship services. The group is directed by Katie Marienfield. For more information about this opportunity, please contact Katie at [email protected] or 573-825-6825.
What are your Children Learning?
Our Current Pathways Unit at a Glance

Our elementary aged kids rotate between classes offering hands on learning experiences in Art, Cooking, Drama, Storytelling, Games and Movies.

Our April Unit is Living God's Word- Forgiveness. The children are learning how as children of God we are expected to forgive others, just as God forgives us. We will be exploring three different Bible Stories: Joseph and His Brothers, The Forgiving Father and Forgive Seventy Times Seven.

One of the most important experiences the children have during each unit, is participating in an outreach project. During this unit, we are asking families to donate non-perishable food items. These items will be used in the Games station during the unit. The children will participate in a game that will give them the opportunity to experience "the weight" of carrying the heavy burden of holding a grudge or refusing to forgive someone. When the unit concludes, these items will be donated to "Rudy's Food Pantry".

All God's Children

All God's Children is an adaptive Sunday School Program for children with disabilities. Children up to age 12 are invited to join us for a modified version of the hands-on Pathways Program during the 11:15 am service. Please meet in the Music room on the second floor of the CLC.

AGC seeks to accompany all children with different abilities focusing on meeting their needs and supporting the family incorporating them into the life of the church with appropriate levels of support.
