Make a Difference Day: Be There!
The United Way Roger Hill Volunteer Center will be participating in Make a Difference Day national day of service by coordinating volunteer projects throughout Douglas County on Sat., Oct. 27th. Several agencies and local schools will be hosting groups of volunteers - more than 220 volunteers are needed - for projects that range from pampering homeless pets to maintaining sacred Native American sites to helping area schools stay in pristine shape.

This is a great opportunity to volunteer as an individual, family, business, church or civic organization.  Click here to see which projects still need volunteers and to register online.
