What is a CID?


The Town Center Area Community Improvement District is a MOSAIC...fusing diverse elements...it is a self-taxing district ...it is a catalyst for planning, investing and accelerating infrastructure improvements... It provides the stimulus for a vibrant community, attractive to both existing and prospective businesses.

The TCACID is pleased to announce the recent election of Darin Mitchell, Fifth Third Bank of Georgia to fill a recent vacancy on the Board of Directors.

 

Darin is the Institutional Fixed Income Investment Sales Manager for Fifth Third Bank of Georgia where he specializes in the sales of fixed income bonds to corporations, government, banks and other national and local institutions.

 

A native of Atlanta, Darin received a B.A. in Marketing from The University of Notre Dame, where he faithfully served on the Notre Dame Football team and is an active member of the Notre Dame Club of Atlanta.

 

 

 

Darin has a specific commitment to children and education. Following through on that commitment, he is on the Board of The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta where he serves on the Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Urban League Leadership Development Program.

 

Darin and his wife, Sonjia, have a four-year-old daughter and are expecting a son in May. He enjoys all competitive sports and spending time with friends and family.

 

While Darin's mission at Fifth Third Bank of Georgia is to continue adding value to commercial bank and high net worth clients in areas of cash and asset liability management, the TCACID looks forward to the value he will add to our Community Improvement District.
