The Town Center Area Community Improvement District is a MOSAIC...fusing diverse elements...it is a self-taxing district ...it is a catalyst for planning, investing and accelerating infrastructure improvements... It provides the stimulus for a vibrant community, attractive to both existing and prospective businesses.

Network of paths and sidewalks
In an effort to make the Town Center area a more pedestrian friendly environment, connectivity through sidewalks and multi-use paths is essential. The Noonday Creek offers an aesthetic footprint for the trail to follow, where possible, from Kennesaw Mountain to Bells Ferry Road.
When completed, the network of paths and sidewalks will offer accessibility to local area destinations such as Kennesaw State University Sports Park, KSU campus and Town Center at Cobb Mall. The network will also provide regional connectivity to GRTA Park and Ride, Kennesaw National Battlefield Park and eventually on to the Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area.
Trails and multi-use paths are enhancements to a community. The health benefits of walking and biking are encouraged by many businesses. New and existing companies find the accessibility of a network of paths an additional benefit to their employees. Connectivity opens up opportunities for paths to be used as an alternative to driving. Being able to provide accessibility by bike to GRTA and Cobb Community Transit offers access to regional destinations.
Although the 7-mile Noonday Creek Trail is not totally finished, local employees and KSU students are utilizing finished portions in anticipation of the completed trail June, 2014. The visibility of the bridge installation near Busbee Parkway and Town Center at Cobb Mall has caused a huge amount of interest and curiosity.

The $11.6 million trail is being funded by the Town Center Area Community Improvement District, Cobb County, GDOT and the National Park Service.
The TCACID has begun a Friends of the Trail program. Those contributing to it thus far are Cherokee Hyundai, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Fifth Third Bank, Novelis and, WellStar...each with a sign at a strategic location along the trail.
